- Pray for Michael Johnson, Katie's boyfriend, while he is going through boot camp in San Diego.

Rumor - Jack has been sighted flying over Riverside in a helicopter??

Tis great that you have good health insurance and not that really big and crummy HMO that tells you to take a generic pill and go home. (Oops, should I not have said that?)

It truly is amazing, the power of prayer. Dad and Mom told me they saw you at the superintendent's retreat and told me of your progress. Praise God!! Jack, we will continue to pray for you and your family. Next time we are in California I would be honored If I could stop in and say hello. Take care

It is heartwarming to hear of your progress. I almost went to the superintendent retreat just on the outside chance that you would show up. If I had known you would be there I would have taken Joe and Joel up on their offer. We continue to ask the Lord to make you whole.

Nashville, TN (AP) - A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Davidson County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.
After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the Child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Lipscomb University Bisons, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Hi Jack, Frank here, hoping all is well with you. The job continues on, we are expecting perm power for Bldgs. B & C by the end of the month at the latest. Bldg A is now near ready to start the lathing on the exterior, the interiors will now be going at a faster pace now that the scaffolding is in place in the Sanctuary. This week the guys poured the Basketball court and the surrounding hardscape at the north side of Bldg. B, (the ICC crew did an excellent job on the layout and the finish). Got to go Jack, this job keeps me hopping. Looking foreward to seeing you soon, Blue Skies and God Bless.

Hi Jack, Frank here, Hope all goes well with the rehab, I hear it is going very well. Waiting to see you at the job site in the near future. You will not recognize it from your last visit. The interior under the Sanctuary roof is now well under way along with the framing on both floors. The first hardscape pour is set for tomorrow between Bldgs. B & C, also Bens is on site spreading base on the upper west lot and the east fire road, we are scheduled to pave Saturday. This is a big milestone, it completes all the paving on this large site. All goes well here, we did get paved on Saturday and the concrete placement of the hardscape continues and it looks good, very complex layout with the bands and rays followed with exposed agg. infills. Just waiting for permanent power to B & C. At 'A', all the framing of soffits-catwalks rails-mechanical ducting and fire sprinkler lines with drops are near completion, this will be followed by painting the entire under structure black, then we will install the acoustical suspended clouds. Hi Jack, Frank here, here's hoping all is well with you. Job continues on with the hardscape around B & C to be complete by Thursday. The interiors of B and C are going thru some owner design changes which we hope to get done in the next couple of weeks. At 'A', the lathing operation is underway and we hope to start plastering next week, in the interior, all the acoustic walls have been framed and are being preped to recieve panels after daywall, framing continues at the 2nd floor baths and the lobbys. The owners A.V. sub is due to start cabling at the catwalks to take advantage of the scaffold platform, also the electrician is now running all his lighting conduits thruout the sanctuary understructure. We still need some answers on a number of items, but with the Architects help we will keep pushing on. Hoping to see you soon, Blue Skies and God Bless
Hi Jack, Frank here, it was good to see you visit the site last week. The job continues on, the interior finishes are ongoing at Bldg. B, preparing to recieve the cafe equipment mid December. Bldg. C, all thats left is the lobby counter which has been redesigned. Bldg. A, the plaster operation is underway, the stone sub will start installing in about a week, in the interior, all the overhead in the sanctuary is near complete and we are now painting various areas of the understructure black. Our holdup has been the selection of the lighting fixtures which was completed last week and fixtures are now ordered, awaiting delivery dates so we can button up all the undersides of the catwalks. The remainder of the 1st floor interiors are now being drywalled, 2nd floor baths now framed and rough in walls ongoing for this week. Hardscape looks great, next week we will have it all washed and sealed, then will follow with the landscapers. Talk to you soon. Blue Skies and god bless.

The job goes on and well, and we are on target for Pastor Bayless. The only problem he may have is with the churches AV and Flooring people, they are falling behind, we are assisting and pushing their subs as much as possible.
