"Thank everyone for their prayers!" from Jack - June 20,2007

*Message from Jack - "Thank everyone for their prayers!!! Only God has sustained me this far. Tell them that I have felt every single prayer." Jack communicated this message through an alphabet board.

*Jack Moved - Praise Report #1 - JACK IS OUT OF ICU!!!!! HE IS MORE STABLE AND HAS BEEN MOVED TO ANOTHER FLOOR!

YOUR PRAYERS CONTINUE TO BE AT WORK.......

Karen stated, "Thank everyone for their prayers, letters, food and every little thing that has been done by so many, thank you, thank you..."

Doctor's Report

*Mental Status - As you can see from the above messages, Jack's mental state is excellent. A great example - the Doctor's were sitting around Jack's bed discussing his condition and treatment when Jack raised his hand to get their attention so he could add his "two cents." It was just like being back at one of his many board meetings!

*Movement - He is having physical therapy every day. His left side is increasing in motion each day. Praise Report #2 - He has a tiny bit of movement noted on his right side. Keep praying for more movement on his right side. Jack had limited movement intially on his left side and this has improved tremendously, we are going to believe that the same will happen to the right side.

Note - Jack was seen moving Katie's hair away from her face and eyes, as she sat near his bed. This is something that he has always done for her since she was a little girl.

Again, thank you for your many prayers.......

Hello Jack!!
I was just telling a friend all about your website and prayer pager when today's report popped up, so we got to read it together. Praise God for His graciousness and wisdom!! I have turned my whole family (and there's many!!) onto your website and we will continue to pray for you as long as it takes, rest assured.
Answered prayers can have so many dual purposes and we have all been blessed by you and your family's love and devotion.

For by His wounds you were healed- 1 Peter 2:24

Dear Jack,
Even people like me who barely know you have rallied in prayer for you during these recent weeks. I have the utmost confidence that our gracious Lord will restore you fully because He still has much for you to do. You are an inspiration to far more people than you can imagine!

Jack,
Judy filled me in on your big move day yesterday. Sounded like an exciting day for everyone. First the kids had to take down all your cards and well wishes to re-hang them in your new room. I'm certain this took a few hours as there have been plenty of cards and flowers getting delivered to the office daily. All is well on the home front (the office that is) Joel hasn't been over to our side of the building in two weeks, but Sarah and I go over during the day to see how he's doing. Which by the way is fine. Take care and get working on that rubber band gun, trigger finger.
Love to you and the family,
Jane

Hi Jack,
I just sent a comment but I think it got lost in space. Anyway, good to hear that I'm not the only one to get kicked out of places. You get kicked out of ICU and it's a great thing! Next time I get ousted from the house or our office, I'll tell Raquel that it's ok, because even JACK had to leave ICU!

As always, Raquel and I pray each day for you my friend.

Bonni called me yesterday to tell me the good news about you getting closer to the front door of the hospital. YEA!!! She was so excited that she was able to wave to you on your way out of floor #7. I am so encouraged and praise God for you!!! Hope to see the family real soon.
Blessings to you always. Praise God for who He is and all He can accomplish in your life.

Hi Jack!
My mom has worked with you for forever, and you've always been the best boss. You've always taken care of your employees and their families like they were your own. I have no doubt that God has seen this, and will in turn take care of you. All my best to you and your family. I pray for your speedy recovery, and that all of the thoughts and wishes for you will reach you in good health. Thank you for being you, Cristin Newkirk

Jack, Karen and children,

We have just learned of your recent stroke. Paul and I are still in shock and are praying for you through out the day.

The reports of your continous improvement is nothing short of a miracle. We will continue to pray for a full recovery and looking forward to seeing lot's of activity next door soon.

You have missed out on neighborhood happenings. The house on the corner of Westminster and Hathaway (the one with the fountain) had a fire last weekend and it turns out it was a meth. lab. Who would ever think such a thing would happen in our neighborhood.

If there is any thing that we can do for you as neighbors please let us know.

Blessing and Prayers
The Sears Family
