Update & Prayer Pager

Great news!!!!The family reports that the Doctor's stated the latest MRI showed the anurism has reduced slightly in size. This was a big day for Jack since they put in a tracheostomy. Keep praying that everything continues to move forward!

A Prayer Pager has been established. The purpose of the pager is to alert Jack when someone is praying for him. The pager will vibrate on his wrist when you call the number below. The pager number is:

951-344-3405
When you call the pager it will prompt you with easy directions to follow.

Added to the About Me section is a picture of Jack preparing to land his helicopter on Catalina Island. This picture was taken from the backseat of the helicopter.

Jack,

I think about you and your family all of the time. I pray for your recovery all of the time.
I have asked over a hundred of my friends in the Knights of Columbus to pray for your recovery. Many have told me that you have been added to their prayer petitions.

Know that you are loved.

Faith, Hope, LOVE

Dear Jack and family,
You are in the hearts and prayers of the Mission Hills Community Church family. You and your company blessed us in the construction of our sanctuary but most of all in your humbleness and kindness. Remember, God is near in our times of need and He is gracious in every situation.
Blessings!

Jack,

Chris Clarke at Stamko Development told Dan Jacobsson today after our meeting, that she is so happy he introduced her to Diffenbaugh. She could never go through want she went through before with other contractors. Thought you would be happy to hear that.

Great to hear you are improving. Wayne and I will be at the hospital tomorrow morning. Even if you can't see us, we will at least be able to see Karen and the family.

Mary

Jack,

I stopped by the hospital yesterday and had a brief but really nice visit with Karen, your dad, your sister, kids... and came away feeling blessed to just be around them. They love you and each other so much.

The focus of so many conversations around the office and talking with others by phone, has been upon God and how He has used you to touch people. The example you have set unites all of us in all three companies. You are a living witness to the power of God in a person's life.

What more can I say except that we all miss you. But I'm happy to say that we are all working closely to care for the company that we all call home.

With love and never ending prayers,

Rob & Kim Fazio

Dear Jack, Definitely shocked at what's going on with you. Of course Cindy and I are praying for you. They said to tell some funny things but I'm not sure how much you want out there on the internet so I may hold back some. Our quality in choice of cars in college had something to be desired but the hot wires you hooked up to the battery and passenger seat with a button was a part of you some people may not know. Larry probably still has a knot on his head from coming off that seat and hitting the roll bar. I believe you helped me pull off the walkie talkie in the mask that we raised to the 2nd story girls dorm windows at Cal Baptist. Sneaky! I guess you could call it that when we put our ears to the window in our dorm room next to the entrance of the girls dorm to see if we could hear anything juicy as dates returned. They actually trusted us as two of a few guys who lived in a wing of the girls dorm that year. I think Rick Warren was on the wing too. Seriously I know God will be glorified with this through you. Jenean called me back shortly after I found out. Hope and pray quick recovery. It was a privilege to be your best man and have you as a best friend way back when. Your friend Terry Knight

Dearest Jack, Karen, and family,
Words literally cannot express how heartsick I have felt for you at this time. I have thought about both of you and prayed for you almost every waking hour. Also, I cannot express how special you both have been in my life, what a great influence you have had. You have always been beyond loving and supportive, and I cannot imagine life without you. So sorry to tell you, but you have no choice but to get better, because the world just would not be the same without both of you in it, happy and healthy. I love you both very much. Thank you for all you have done for me and my family. Always yours, Sherry Lynn Bourbonnais

Jack,

Joel, Dwight, Kevin and I had our scheduled video conference with Kumar today (Friday). In your absence, the four of us were left to unlock the secrets of how to operate the remote control for the camera and associated components. Kumar really enjoyed the first few minutes of listening to us talk as he gazed at a screen filled with a fine view of the ceiling tiles. Being the enterprising people that we are, we sent for Paul Evans to regain control of this advanced piece of equipment. We hope this doesn't shake your confidence in our collective ability to hold down the fort! We are looking for you to return to your customary seat in the room with the remote control safely in your palm!

Enjoy a few laughs Jack.

We miss you.

Hi Jack...
I heard of your condition last night. I just want you to know that YOU along with Karen Heather, Katy and Matt are in our thoughts and prayers. You have the strongest will and with the love and support that surrounds you, you will get through this.
So many memories streamed through my mind so quickly as Mel was telling me of your condition.
It seems just like yesterday when we were sittin at Shamel park watching the boys play.I remember one incident that made me burst into tears cause I was laughing so hard... It was at Villegas park the boys were practicing, and when you came to get Matt you were in the white Porsche. Nikko was in the front seat of our car and he saw you put Matt's bag in the trunk in which he thought it was the engine. He said in a worried voice... Mom Jack is putting Matt's bag in the engine. I could'nt help but laugh. Thanks again for the plane ride to Vegas and the Mama Mia show and that awesome dinner at the Rum jungle. These memories I will cherish. My family and I have been blessed to have been touched by you and your family. We love you Jack!!!
Love, Faith, and Blessings

It's Jane here, well one week down and hopefully not to many more until you are able to return to us here at the office. The remodel is nearing the final phase, not too many change orders and well under budget. Mike calls me every day from work to tell me he's sending his pray to you via pager, he says he calls you three times in a row. 1 for friend, 1 for business associate and 1 for family. I asked why family and he said that since I always tell him how wonderful you are and how concerned you always are about the boys that you must be family. We've got you schedule for all the activites at the company picnic in July, so with Gods help and your will, I'll sure you'll take first place in the rubber band shooting contest or the flying marshmellow competition. Lots and prayers Jane Rodriguez

A little humor for you Jack. I hope you enjoy it.

A man was walking on the beach when GOD appeared before him. GOD said, "My son you have been a man of faith your entire life. Therefore I will grant you one wish.
The man said, "Thank you Lord. You know I love to go to Hawaii but I don't like to fly. Could you build me a bridge so that I could drive to Hawaii whenever I wanted to?"

With that GOD said, "my son this thing you ask for, have you considered the labor, the engineering, the depth of waters and all of the concrete and rebar required for such an undertaking? This is a very selfish request.

Think on it again my son, perhaps there's something else?

With that the man asked GOD to help him to understand women. He said, " help me to understand how they think, about their emotions, why they act the way they do".

Then GOD said, "now son about that bridge, did you want two lanes or four?"

We continue to lift you up in our prayers.
With Love,
The Costello family

Hello Mr. Hawkins,
Let me introduce myself, my name is Kyle. I am Rob's step-son. I just wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers and I pray for your speedy recovery. I have heard nothing but wonderful stories of you from Rob and my Mom and am VERY grateful that you are a part of their lives. If I may, let me leave you with a verse that has served me well. It is my name (my first name) and my birthday actually; Matthew 5:16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Sincerly,
Kyle

Hi Jack:
So what new business ideas have you been dreaming up with all this "time off"? Now that you have successfully and completely delegated all of your day to day activities to the management team, we are wondering what new offices/ventures you want to pursue next. I know we have been pushing you to delegate, but you are a real success story Jack!

Seriously, we are going to hold you to do your part in Vision 2007, which is all about your complete and full recovery! No slacking off!
Much love
Kumar and Shilpi, Roz and Dean and Alex.
